CLBL is for boys and girls grades 3-12 in the Heritage High School, Loudoun County High School, and Tuscarora High School districts. Each season CLBL serves over 1,200 players in the Leesburg, VA area of Loudoun County.
The Youth House League is a recreational league for grades 3-8. CLBL strives to place every registrant on a team, however, optimum team size (8-10 per team depending on age) and number of coach applicants are the driving factors for how many players we can accommodate in each league. Some registrants may be placed on a waitlist until we receive the proper number of qualified coach applicants - this is usually a temporary situation to ensure proper team size. You will be notified when to complete registration. If CLBL can not accommodate your registrant, you will receive a full refund of any monies paid. All house league players must attend a skills evaluation in mid-October. Coaches draft their teams. The house league encourages equal playing time for all players; for an 8-player team, each player is guaranteed 50-75% playing time per game.
The Travel League is for grades 6-8. There can be six "select" teams (Boys 6th, Boys 7th, Boys 8th, Girls 6th, Girls 7th and Girls 8th) from each middle school (Harper Park MS, J. L. Simpson MS and Smart's Mill MS). Tryouts are the first week of October. Each player is only guaranteed 25% playing time per game.
The High School League has three divisions: Boys 9th/10th, Boys 11th/12th and Girls 9-12. Each player is only guaranteed 25% playing time per game.
